Congratulations Charmaine on being elected  to the Board of the Black Opportunity Fund, as just one of a handful in Western Canada. I was part of a group that founded the Circle For Aboriginal Relations Society (CFAR) in 2004, in Calgary Alberta, and it has done quite a bit to improve relationships, dialogue, and identify business opportunities within the three pronged stool of Government, business and the Aboriginal communities. I am pleased that, t
the BOF has now been created, as the mission and format seems quite similar to CFAR. Although at the time we created it, words like systemic racism, and anti-Aboriginal would never have shown up in our mission statement. Not that they weren't there at some level, but I think we felt, by putting them up front, they continually act as a 'speed bump' to progress. Regards, Craig
